Rare whimsical 1953 Hattie Carnegie figural rooster in antique gold-tone base metal with molded and carved red, black and yellow lucite insets for head, tail feathers, and body feathers. Signed Hattie Carnegie on an applied oval plaque on reverse. [See "20th Century Fashionable Plastic Jewelry, 2003 Edition" by Lillian Baker, p. 93.] [Ms. Baker describes the insets as Bakelite.
