It was in the Neuchâtel area of the Jura Mountains, in Le Locle, Switzerland, that Charles-Félicien Tissot and his son Charles-Emile created the watch making company TISSOT in 1853. Still located in Le Locle, Tissot is the official timekeeper for the world championships in cycling, motorcycling, fencing and ice hockey, helping to underline the sporting values of quest for performance, precision and pushing oneself to the limit.
