KB5703Blackinton Victorian Waist Perfume. This large c. 1880 Victorian waist perfume is marked with R. Blackinton & Co. original trademark, the horizontal sword (hilt on left) with the block B, numbered 8184 and hallmarked STERLING. There is a gold wash over the sterling which is non-existent on the floral design. I do not know if the flowers originally had the wash. There are five bezel set 4 mm amethysts around the top and one 9 mm amethyst at the very top. The cut crystal "vial" is a 10-sided torpedo shape. There are minor flakes to the rim of the bottom of the original dauber. There "seems" to be a minor chip from the bottom of the vial. I say "seems" because it feels rough in one spot but I cannot see it myself. This is truly an awesome piece to have survived in such excellent condition. length: 4-3/8", width" 1-1/8"$ 525.00Victorian Waist Perfume
