Trifari's Tasteful Trickery

Below are some wonderful examples of Trifari jewelry. I have included pieces from the 1930's to the 1990's.

1930's Trifari Pin Clips. Gorgeous pair of c. 1930's TRIFARI with crown open-work rhodium-plated silver-tone shield-shaped fur (pin) clips with swagged ribbon sides pavé set with clear round rhinestones framing a simple flower set off by a channel of clear baguettes. To wear separately or butted together as one pin. each: length: 1-1/2", width: 1-3/8"; together: length: 3"

1930's Trifari Pin Clips

c. 1935 Trifari Fruit Salad Pin Clip. Beautiful rhodium-plated shield-shaped dress clip with tri-color pastel fruit salads accented with pavé clear round rhinestones. Signed KTK (monogram style) for Krussman, Trifari and Fishel with Trifari being the significant name. width: 1-1/2", height: 1-1/2"

1940 Alfred Philippe for Trifari Pin Clip Fabulous rhodium-plated fur clip with ruby red cabochons for the buds of these bleeding heart flowers with red enameled vines and pave clear round rhinestone accents. Signed TRIFARI (with crown over T) DES. PAT. NO. 122098. Patent reproduced and viewable with larger image. width: 2", length: 3"

Alfred Philippe Trifari Ruby Red Cabochon and Diamante Fur Clip

Superb c. 1940's signed TRIFARI (with crown over T) PAT. PEND. rhodium-plated clamper bracelet with focal open-work stylized floral design with leaves of cobalt blue navettes, tear-drop shaped flower petals in light blue and centers of mini round clear rhinestones; safety catch. inner circumference: 7-1/8", floral motif: width: 1-7/8", height: 1-1/4"

Each of these adorable 1949 rhodium plated base metal rag doll pins has sapphire blue molded glass for bodies and is accentuated with pave set clear round rhinestones. Both marked Trifari with crown; she with DES. PAT. NO. 153551, he with DES. PAT. NO. 153552. 1952 Trifari Promenade Brooch & Earrings. Beautiful Trifanium-plated dimensional silvertone pin and clipback earrings in "Promenade" design by Trifari with round,oval, baguette and trapezium-shaped clear rhinestones. Outstanding hard-to-find Trifari tiger pin. Gold-plated with pavé set clear round rhinestones and smokey-grey marquise-cut rhinestone eyes; matching earrings. Circa 1991. 1954 Alfred Philippe for Trifari Lily Brooch. The highly polished gold-tone finish on this brooch designed by Alfred Philippe for Trifari in 1954 has the look of real gold. Just as the matte white faux pearls forming the buds on this lily brooch simulate the look of genuine pearls. Six paste set clear round rhinestones add the look of real diamonds. A real beauty! Signed Trifari with crown over T DES. PAT. NO. 172560. width: 1-1/8", length: 2-7/8"

1957 Trifari Fantasia Dragon Fly Pin. From Trifari's FANTASIA series comes this darling 1957 dragon fly pin with delicately textured Trifanium on lower body and lower wings, Trifari's new pearl-like jewel made from the iridescent shell of the oyster for upper wings and faux black diamonds for his body, and his ruby glass cabochon eyes. Signed TRIFARI (with crown) ©. wingspan: 2-1/8", length: 1-3/4"

Trifari c. 1950's tear drop gold-toned pendant and bale set with clear round rhinestones on a 0" length 12- rope twisted chain necklace gathered by a gold-toned and rhinestone clasp.

1953 TRIFARI Alfred Philippe Lucerne Necklace. This fabulous Trifanium-plated clear rhinestone necklace was designed for Trifari by Alfred Philippe in 1953. It is formed of two rows, one of pronged-in rhinestones and the other of channel set baguettes, which undulate throughout the length and are separated by baguettes. Signed TRIFARI PAT. PEND. on hook closure. 1953 Christmas LHJournal Ad,   patent   total length: 16-1/2", width: 7/8"
